Chris Madigan

The success of Madigan + Company today would not be without the foundational education, professional experience, and drive for excellence that led founder and CEO Chris Madigan to immerse himself in the industry 20 years ago. His experience in luxury developments, backed by an engineering degree and an eye for design has allowed Madigan + Company to emerge as a preeminent builder in the competitive environments they serve.

Chris attained his Bachelor of Science degree in Ocean Engineering and Naval Architecture from Texas A&M University, and a Master's in Structural Engineering and Mechanics at the University of Colorado, Boulder. Upon graduation in 2000, he accepted an offer with an offshore service company in France as a Project Engineer and Offshore Construction Manager. His responsibilities included designing, logistical planning, and supervising the installation of mooring for deep water platforms. This experience allowed him to hone his engineering skills and learn the value of acute attention to detail, precision, and complex logistics.

In 2003, Chris returned to his roots in Austin, Texas to build on the skills he learned abroad, embarking on a new career building luxury homes. After a few years of establishing a solid foundation in the business, he seized an opportunity to advance his career in the prominent Aspen market building luxury homes and commercial spaces. Soon, he began managing multiple high-level, complex developments throughout the area with a local firm. He had the privilege of collaborating and networking with talented specialists at the top of their field, unwittingly laying the foundation for Madigan + Company to thrive. Eleven years later, Chris set to work developing a team of diverse, industry-leading professionals seeking to strategically disrupt the status quo.

In 2016, Madigan + Company opened its doors in Aspen. One successful project after another, the firm quickly began competing for some of the most prominent contracts in the valley, becoming a proven leader in the custom home, renovation, and commercial building space. The company also continues to expand its presence and portfolio in Austin, Texas.
